Hi, I’m Asela, a local surf instructor from the south of Sri Lanka, now based in Ahangama, Kabalana.
I started surfing at the age of 11, and over the years it has become not just a passion, but a way of life. For nearly 11 years, I’ve been teaching people from all over the world how to surf, helping them build confidence in the water while enjoying the experience.
I work with both beginners and intermediate surfers, focusing on making each lesson safe, supportive, and fun. Whether it’s your first time on a board or you’re looking to improve your technique, I adapt each session to your level and pace.
I speak both English and Russian, so I’m happy to guide you in the language you feel most comfortable with.
